Drielli Peyerl is currently a researcher in the project entitled Energy transition through the lens of Sustainable Developments Goals (ENLENS) at the University of Amsterdam. She is also collaborating researcher at the University of São Paulo (Institute of Energy and Environment and Research Centre for Greenhouse Gas Innovation), supervising Masters and PhD students on energy transition studies. She graduated in history (2007) and geography (2012) and completed her masters degree in territory management (2010) at the State University of Ponta Grossa, and PhD in sciences at the University of Campinas (2014). During 2014 and 2017, she concluded her Postdoctoral in Scientific and Technological Research at the University of Campinas. She was a visiting scholar/researcher at Oklahoma State University, United States, from August 2015 to July 2016 (BEPE/FAPESP). Between September and November of 2017, she was a Residential Fellow at Linda Hall Library United States. In 2018, she was appointed and elected board member of the Petroleum History Institute of the United States. She concluded her second postdoctoral in 2018 in the Scientific Division of Environmental Management, Science and Technology - Institute of Energy and Environment, University of São Paulo, working on the energy transition topic. She was visiting researcher at the Graz University of Technology between November and December of 2021. She was a Young Researcher (FAPESP) in the Energy Transition field between January 2019 - September 2022 at the Institute of Energy and Environment and Research Center for Gas Innovation, University of São Paulo. As a full-time researcher over the last few years, she has built a strong background in the energy transition area. Her work addresses energy transition, technological learning and innovation in energy systems, low-carbon technological advances in the oil and gas industry, sustainable development, the hydrogen economy, renewable energy, and public policies. Her books include The Oil of Brazil (2019), History, Exploration Exploitation of Oil and Gas (2019), Opportunities and Challenges of Natural Gas and Liquefied Natural Gas in Brazil (2020), Transição Energética, Percepção Social e Governança (2022), and Energy Transition in Brazil (2023).
