As a dedicated scientist, I have consistently been captivated by the convergence of technology and pharmaceutical research and development. I have successfully completed my academic journey by earning a doctorate in medicinal chemistry. Throughout the course of the past decade, this notable accomplishment has afforded me invaluable experience within the industry. Based on my extensive professional experience, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by the sector. I am committed to dedicating my career to the creation of innovative solutions for these urgent challenges.Over the course of my multifaceted career, I have acquired invaluable experience and expertise in a range of roles, consistently augmenting my knowledge within the industry. I held the esteemed position of senior toxicologist and drug discovery specialist, wherein I effectively employed AI systems to tackle intricate projects. I was actively involved in the development of the In Silico Toxicology Platform iS-Tox from 2017 to 2018. In the year 2017, I had the privilege of leveraging my expertise to make valuable contributions to the Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative (DNDi). During this period, I held the position of a computational chemistry scientist for the Lead Optimization Latin America project (LOLA).In light of my past achievements, I am consistently pursuing fresh prospects within the industry. During my tenure as a visiting professor of medicinal chemistry at the University of Turin (UniTO) in 2015 and 2016, I had the privilege of providing mentorship to an emerging cohort of scientists. I am pleased to have been acknowledged for my contributions to predictive modeling, analytics, and data science by being awarded the American Chemical Society's (ACS) CINF Scholarship for Scientific Excellence in both 2012 and 2014. Nevertheless, I experienced a compelling inclination to wholeheartedly embrace my passion.Consequently, I founded InsilicAll, an innovative drug discovery platform situated in Latin America. Our platform leverages artificial intelligence and computational methods to expedite the advancement of small-molecule and protein therapeutics. Furthermore, our design process places a high priority on the assessment of toxicological safety. Throughout my tenure as the leader of InsilicAll, our organization has made notable strides in the realm of drug discovery, culminating in the successful completion of multiple projects. The platform's distinctive approach to therapeutic development has garnered recognition from esteemed entities such as Apex-Brasil, Biominas Brasil, and ABIQUIFI. InsilicAll has been acknowledged as a prominent healthcare startup, earning the distinction of being a "hidden champion."By providing support to innovative startups, the healthcare industry in Brazil has the capacity to foster collaboration and facilitate growth, ultimately leading to benefits for patients and society as a whole. In my role as the founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of InsilicAll, I am committed to fostering innovation within the pharmaceutical sector. Based on my extensive experience in predictive modeling, analytics, and data science, I perceive InsilicAll as a prominent biotechnology company positioned to achieve substantial progress in the fields of drug discovery and toxicology.
