Resumo

Com o intuito de alavancar o estabelecimento de um forte programa científico na área de Física Hadrônica, estamos propondo a criação de uma rede de colaboração de pesquisadores teóricos e experimentais com foco em estudos de fenomenologia ligados a resultados dos experimentos do LHC. O objetivo principal deste projeto não é apoiar linhas de pesquisas individuais, mas agregar os pesquisadores em tópicos de estudos comuns para desenvolverem trabalhos em colaboração, criando novas abordagens na área de Física Hadrônica e auxiliando no desenvolvimento de análises de física dos grupos experimentais nas colaborações do LHC, aumentando assim a inserção e participação de modelos teóricos desenvolvidos no Brasil junto à comunidade internacional. Concentramos as linhas de estudos em três tópicos relacionados às diferentes fases de uma colisão de núcleos pesados: 1. condições iniciais e fenomenologia de colisões de próton-próton; 2. evolução hidrodinâmica e caracterização do Quark-Gluon Plasma; 3. fenomenologia ligada a fase final da colisão. Os estudos envolvem a caracterização e qualificação de diferentes modelos teóricos existentes, desenvolvimento de novos modelos com criação de algoritmos de simulação de dados, e proposição de novos observáveis experimentais. Além disto, estamos propondo instalar um cluster de análise de fenomenologia de partículas que centralizar os diferentes códigos de simulação e geradores de eventos, ferramentas de análises de dados utilizados pelos experimentais, e que será compartilhado por todos membros do projeto. Propomos também oferecer cursos de análises de dados para alunos e pesquisadores utilizando a infraestrutura criada neste projeto. (AU)
