Resumo

O desenvolvimento de dispositivos eletrônicos orgânicos tem recebido grande destaque no cenário cientifico mundial, por se tratar de dispositivos que apresentam um baixo custo para a sua confecção e apresentarem uma boa eficiência de conversão da energia solar em energia elétrica, energia elétrica em energia luminosa, amplificação de sinais elétricos, entre outras. Dentre as principais aplicações de compostos orgânicos em dispositivos eletrônicos podemos citar: células solares orgânicas (DSSCs), dispositivos orgânicos emissores de luz (OLEDs), transistores de efeito de campo orgânicos (OFETs), mostradores de informação flexíveis, cartões identificadores por radiofrequência (RFID), eletrônica têxtil e sensoriamento. Devido a isto, a química orgânica sintética surge como uma excelente ferramenta para o desenvolvimento de corantes sensibilizadores de dispositivos eletrônicos orgânicos, possibilitando a síntese de novos tipos de corantes e também possibilitando através de modificações estruturais em corantes orgânicos já utilizados, a potencialização dos mesmos. Portanto, neste projeto propomos realizar um estudo para a obtenção de diferentes derivados de tetra-aril-1,4-di-hidropirrol[3,2-b]pirrol e xantênicos através de reações multicomponentes promovidas pelo pentacloreto de Nióbio (NbCl5), verificando detalhadamente o efeito da concentração do NbCl5 no tempo reacional e no rendimento dos produtos formados. Depois da preparação dos compostos de interesse, estes serão submetidos a análises de caracterização estrutural, fotoquímica e fotofísica, para que possamos viabilizar sua aplicação como corantes sensibilizadores em dispositivos eletrônicos orgânicos (DSSCs e OLEDs). Pretende-se também verificar qual é o efeito dos grupos substituintes, sejam eles doadores ou retiradores de elétrons, na proporção e rendimento dos produtos formados, nos tempos reacionais e nas propriedades físicas e químicas dos produtos formados.
