Abstract

We evaluate the vacuum energy of regularized identity based solutions through level truncation computations in open bosonic string field theory. We show that the level truncated solutions bring a value of the vacuum energy expected for the tachyon vacuum in agreement with Sen's first conjecture. (AU)
