Fernando Pessoas writings have been connected and compared to the works of various philosophers, but few are the studies that explore their own philosophical nature. Thus our goal is to explore Fernando Pessoas writings in order to examine their proximity to philosophy through his own experiences. While his works are marked by a plurality of meanings in their form and substance, our interpretive hypothesis is that uneasiness is not only the central element of the main experiences of his writings, but also the justification of the philosophical character of his poetic thought. The opening of horizon that characterizes the uneasiness includes the radical questioning of the relationship between existence and conscience. (AU)
