Full time researcher at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (Mexico) since May 2018, working on anatomical plant evolution within a phylogenetic framework aiming to unravel the formation of complex anatomies in ontogeny and phylogeny. Bachelor, Msc and PhD in Sciences by the University of São Paulo (Brazil), with experience of seven months at the University of Bologna (Italy) between 2003-2004, one year at the University of Helsinki (Finland),between 2010-2011, and two years of post-doc at the Smithsonian Institution, National Museum of Natural History (USA) between 2016-2018.
