Luiz is an electrical engineer with 15 years of experience with Electronics development, 13 years as an engineer and 9 years with medical electrical devices. He has a bachelor degree from Sao Paulo University (Polytechnic School) and started a Masters course in the same institution (paused). Currently acts as a senior development engineer at Eldorado Research Institute, where he works with the development of electrical medical devices. He has experience with the whole product development cycle: requirements definition, system design, schematics and layout design, circuit analysis and simulation, prototyping, tests (bench, functional, EMC etc), documentation, interface with cross-functional and global teams and transference to factory. Has expertise in Electronics and experience with complex electronic boards design: multi-layers, BGAs, high speed signals, analog circuits, switching regulators, robust design techniques (DfX, DFMEA, EMC). Has experience with regulated industry (ISO 13485, IEC 62304 and IEC60601) and with the resolution of EMC problems.
