Ismar held his BSc in Mathematics-Informatics at Federal University of Juiz de Fora (1994), Master of Sciences at Technological Institute Aeronautics (1997) and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering by University of São Paulo, Polytechnic School (2003). He currently teaches at Mackenzie Presbyterian University, where he coordinates the MBIS program in Systems' Design and Development and acts in MSc and Ph. D. Program in Electrical Engineering. He also teaches at Cruzeiro do Sul University, where he coordinates the BSc. in Computer Sciences and acts on the MSc and Ph. D. Program in Mathematics and Science Teaching. He is currently member of the following scientific communities: LACLO (Latin American Community of Learning Technologies), HCI-Collab (Collaborative Network to support the teaching and learning processes in the area of Human-Computer Interaction at the Ibero-American level) and VG-Collab (Collaborative Research and Game Development Network in Iberoamerica).
