Graduated in Food Engineering from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2002), holds a Master's degree in Food Engineering from the State University of Campinas (2005), and a Ph.D. in Food Engineering from the State University of Campinas (2009). Currently, he is an Professor PhD at the University of São Paulo (MS-3.2, "Doctor 2") in the Undergraduate Course in Food Engineering and the Graduate Program in Engineering and Materials Science (FZEA-USP, Brazil). He has experience in the field of Food Science and Technology, with an emphasis on Food Engineering, mainly working on the following topics: Transport Phenomena; Unit Operations; Particulate Systems; Fluidized Bed; Granulation; Process Modeling and Optimization; Drying; Extraction; Simulation using the Finite Element Method; Artificial Neural Networks.
