Renan Chaves holds a PhD and a master's degree in sound for film and a bachelor's degree in music from Unicamp. He is a production sound mixer, sound editor/sound designer, re-recording mixer, guitarist and film music composer. His work involves documentaries, fictions, experimental animations, series, corporate videos and advertisements. He is a professor of practice at Brazilian Association of Cinematography in the courses ?Production sound mixing? and ?The post-production workflow?.
