Bachelor of Geography (1983); Masters in Geography (1990), and PhD in Geography (1996), by the Institute of Geosciences and Exact Sciences (IGCE), Universidade Estadual Paulista ?Júlio de Mesquita Filho? (UNESP), Rio Claro campus. Professor of Interpretation and Assessment of Landscapes, by IGCE-UNESP (2007). Post-doctorate on Public Use in Conservation Units, at the Forestry Institute of São Paulo (SP), in the Serra do Mar State Park, Núcleo Santa Virginia (2010-2013), São Luiz do Paraitinga (SP). Retired professor of the extinct Geography Department from IGCE-UNESP (1985-2016). She also worked at the Geography Graduate Program at IGCE-UNESP (until 2017) and the Environmental Engineering and Ecology courses at UNESP, Rio Claro campus. She served as a guest lecturer in the Specialization Course in Environmental Education (2003-2014), at the Water Resources and Applied Ecology Center, at the São Carlos School of Engineering (CRHEA-EESC-USP). Currently, she works as a volunteer with the Association of Israeli Scholars in São Paulo and Southern Brazil. She works in consultancies, training courses, training and updating for teachers, technicians, monitors and environmental educators, and other interested parties; technical-scientific and motivational lectures, activities of experiences in Environmental Perception and Deep Ecology. Has interdisciplinary experience in the area of Geography, with an emphasis on Perception, Interpretation, and Environmental and Landscape Valuation, working on the following themes: management and conservation of natural and cultural landscape resources, multidimensional and multifunctional landscapes, subjective valuation of landscapes, ecological education, trails interpretative, scenic routes, territorial environmental management, model forests, park roads, public use in protected areas; perception of risks, disasters, and environmental impacts.
