Graduate at Physiotherapy from the Universidade Federal de São Carlos (1999), master's at Bioengenharia from Universidade de São Paulo (2001) and Ph.D. at Surgery from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2005). Visiting professor at the Western University Ontario, Gait and Brain Lab (2021). She is currently an associate professor (Free Lecturer) of the Physiotherapy Course at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP) - USP, by the Department of Health Sciences, responsible for the disciplines of Physiotherapy Applied to Rheumatology, Physiotherapy Applied to Gerontology and Internship in Physiotherapy in Gerontology. She is a master's and doctoral advisor by the Postgraduate Program in Rehabilitation and Functional Performance at FMRP-USP and a postdoctoral supervisor. She has experience in the field of Physiotherapy, working mainly on the following topics: postural control, prevention of falls, functionality, muscle function, the elderly, rehabilitation. She coordinates the Balance Rehabilitation Clinic in the Physiotherapy Sector and the Physiotherapy Clinic in Oncogeriatric, both at the Rehabilitation Center of Clinical Hospital, FMRP-USP. Scientific tutor of the Gerontology League of FMRP-USP. Member of the Support Center for Research on Chronic-Degenerative Diseases at FMRP-USP. Tutor at the Multiprofessional Residency in Comprehensive Health Care at HCFMRP-USP, Professor at the Multiprofessional Residency in Cancer Care at HCFMRP-USP and member of the Fragility Fracture Network.
