BSc degree in Mathematics in 1988. Master degree in Mathematics in 1991 from the University of São Paulo under the supervision of Maria Aparecida Ruas. PhD in Mathematics from the University of Warwick, England in 1998, under the supervision of Ian Stewart. "Livre docente" from USP since 2012. Post-doctorate at the University of Surrey, England in 2014. Associate professor at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of São Paulo, contract in 1990. Currently, member of two Thematic projects from Fapesp, in one as a main collaborator and in the other as a participating collaborator. The main research projects are directed to the applications of Singularities and Invariant theory to bifurcations with symmetry, reversible and equivariant systems, classification of singularities, divergent diagram of folds associated with involutions, simultaneous linearization of involutions and symmetries in networks. In teaching, projects are supported by the master-disciple connection, in the search of consciousness of the greater good governed by the laws of human nature. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
