Marcos Nobre obtained his PhD in Philosophy at the University of São Paulo, is professor for Philosophy at the University of Campinas, senior researcher of the Brazilian Center of Analysis and Planning (Cebrap), and Co-Speaker of the Maria Sibylla Merian Centre Conviviality-Inequality in Latin America (Mecila). His numerous academic publications and interventions in the public sphere show his attachment to the renewal of the intellectual trend of the Critical Theory of the Frankfurt School. His last book is Como nasce o novo. Experiência e diagnóstico de tempo na Fenomenologia do espírito de Hegel (How the New Arises.
