He is currently a Ph.D. Professor at the University of São Paulo. Experience in the area of Microbiology, with emphasis on Oral Microbiology and Anaerobic Microbiology, working mainly on the following topics: Control of microorganisms: Application of Biodiversity in Health: Evaluation of the Antimicrobial Activity of Medicinal Plants; Microbial Participation in the Etiology of Periodontal Diseases, Dental Caries and Halitosis; Therapeutic use of Probiotics: Effect of Probiotic therapy in oral Infectious Diseases, Halitosis and in the Prevention of Allergic Diseases; Photodynamic Therapy in Dentistry and Medicine (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
