Head of the Department of Geography - FFLCH-USP re-elected in 2021. Coordinator of the Center for the Study of Human Populations and Wetlands - NUPAUB - USP. Develops research in Natural Heritage and Landscape Studies, Cultural Forests and Protected areas in the Amazon and Atlantic Forest. Specialist in Social and Environmental Education Programs. Specialist in Landscape Planning, Protected Areas Management Plans, Municipal Master Plans. Full member of the scientific body of the Advisory Board of RPPN Sesc Pantanal. Member of the Advisory Board of the Mosaic Jacupiranga-Vale do Ribeira - São Paulo. Member of AB Physical Geography - Brazilian Association of Physical Geography. Director of ABBIOGEO - Brazilian Biogeography Association. He was a member of the Council for the Defense of Historical, Archaeological, Artistic and Tourist Heritage (CONDEPHAAT) 2004/2016. Experience in the area of Geosciences, with an emphasis on Physical Geography, acting mainly on the following themes: environmental conservation, biogeography, education, landscape planning and public environmental policies.
