holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1989), a master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering [S. Carlos] from the University of São Paulo (1993) and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1997). He is currently a FULL Professor at University of State of São Paulo UNESP, advisor to the journals: Journal of Materials Science, Journal of Thermoplastic Composite Materials, Industrial Lubrication and Tribology. He has experience in Mechanical Engineering, with emphasis on Machines, Engines and Equipment, working mainly on the following topics: oil analysis, vibration analysis, predictive maintenance, particle analysis and mechanical systems projects. Coordinated research projects at FINEP, CNPq (Universal Range C), FAPESP (5), Fundunep (Fundation for the Development of Unesp), Fepisa (Teaching, Research and Extension Foundation of Ilha Solteira) and Proex (Pro-rector of Extension University of Unesp).
