Graduated in Mathematics from Universidade Estadual Paulista Julio de Mesquita Filho (1984), master's degree in Mathematics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (1987), PhD in Mathematics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (1992). He is currently Professor at the University of São Paulo. He has experience in the areas of Applied Mathematics, Computer Graphics and Computational Fluid Dynamics, acting on the following topics: numerical simulation of fluid flow, computational geometry and topology and mesh generation.
