He has a degree in Agronomy from the Federal University of Viçosa (2008), master's degree (2010) and PhD (2014) in Animal Science from the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" - Unesp of Jaboticabal. He participated in an internship abroad during his doctorate at the University of Florida, USA. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship, with FAPESP scholarship, at UNESP-Jaboticabal in 2016. He was adjunct professor at the Institute of Animal Health and Production (ISPA) of the Federal Rural University of Amazonia (UFRA), Belem campus, and is currently an adjunct professor at the Department of Animal Science of the School of Veterinary and Animal Science (EVZ) of the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). He is a permanent professor at the postgraduate program in Animal Science at UFG in the Research Line in Forage and Pasture, and since 2021 he is a member of the Image Processing and Geoprocessing Laboratory (LAPIG). He has experience in the field of Animal Science, with emphasis on Pasture and Forage crops, working mainly on the following topics: grazing and pasture management; animal production in pastures; mitigation of greenhouse gases in pastures; mapping of Brazilian pastures by remote sensing..
