Postdoctoral fellow in the Cell Signaling Laboratory / UNICAMP in the period 2010-2011; Visiting professor and Postdoctoral fellow at the University of Chicago in 2012. Post doctoral fellow at the Institut D'Investigacions August Pi i Sunyer Biomèdiques, Hospital Clínic, University of Barcelona from 2012 to 2014. Associate Professor in Coloproctology at the University of Campinas since 2015. Member of the Brazilian Society of Coloproctology and São Paulo Society of Coloproctology. Member of the Brazilian Federation of Gastroenterology, the International Society of University Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ISUCRS) and honorary member of the Brazilian Association of Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease (ABCD). Member of the Brazilian Study Group of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (GEDIIB), the European Crohn's and Colitis Organisation (ECCO), and the Pan American Crohn's Colitis Organization (PANCCO). Leader of the Translational Inflammatory Bowel Disease Research Group, certified by the CNPq Research Group Directory (dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/0207799090683699).
