PhD in Agricultural Economics by The Ohio State University (1996). Pos-doc and Visiting Researcher in Applied Economics by University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2003). He teaches in the following undergraduate programs at ESALQ/USP: BS in Agriculture, BA in Economics and BA Environmental Management. In these programs he teaches the following courses: Introduction to Economics, Microeconomics Theory, Capital Markets and Agribusiness Management. He teaches in the graduate program in Applied Economics with the following course: Agricultural Derivatives. In the last years, he was the was the Head of the International Office at ESALQ/USP (2011). He has experience in Economy, focusing on Agricultural Economics and Natural Resources, acting on the following subjects: price analysis, derivatives, marketing information, agricultural economics, and sustainability indexes at the agribusiness sector.
