Graduate in Biological Sciences (UNESP, 1983), Master in Statistics (UNICAMP, 1987), PhD in Statistics (USP, 1997), and with collaborative researches on the area of Design of Experiments and Analysis of Omics Data with Southwest Foundation for Biomedical Research, San Antonio, TX, USA (2001), Mayo Clinic, MN, USA (2013) and University of Groningen, NL (2018). Since 1995, I am Professor at the Statistics Department of the University of Sao Paulo, SP, Brazil, fully dedicated to teaching, training and researching in Statistics. My research area is on the development and application of Statistical methodologies in Omics problems (Genome, Transcriptome and Proteome), including Family-based designs and high dimensional data (mainly, big-p). I have maintained collaborative projects with Laboratory of Genetics and Molecular Cardiology of the Heart Institute (InCor-USP). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
