Permanent researcher at the Pagu Gender Studies Center; professor in the Graduate Programs in Social Sciences and Social Anthropology at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). An anthropologist and feminist, she obtained her Ph.D. in Social Anthropology from UNICAMP (2010-2015) and had a period as a visiting researcher at the University of Bologna - Italy (2022) with a Coimbra Group scholarship. As a researcher, she works on and supervises theses and dissertations on topics related to: the State and its margins; loves and networks of affection; prisons and carceral institutions; governmentality; transnationalities, borders, and markets. She is the editor-in-chief of the journal "cadernos pagu" and author of the book "About Cases and Marriages: Affections and Loves across female prisons in São Paulo and Barcelona," which resulted from the homonymous thesis, receiving Honorable Mention in the ANPOCS Thesis and Dissertation Competition in 2016. Currently, she coordinates the FAPESP project "Expulsions: Compulsory Measures and Imprisonment of Foreigners in an Intersectional and Comparative Perspective."
