Undergraduate at Biological Sciences from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1988), master and Ph.D. at Basic and Applied Immunology from Universidade de São Paulo. Has experience in Immunology, focusing on immunochemistry, glycobiology and immuntherapy in Paracoccidioides brasiliensis infection. He holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of São Paulo Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1988), a Master's and Doctorate in Sciences (1994 and 1998, respectively), obtained from the Graduate Program in Basic and Applied Immunology of the University of São Paulo. He received a recent PhD from FAPEMIG and did two Post-Doctorates at the University of São Paulo. In the last Post-Doctorate he had the opportunity to work in the Laboratory of Professor Michael Ferguson, University of Dundee, Scotland. He served as PhD Professor at the Ribeirão Preto School of Nursing - USP, where he coordinated and taught the disciplines of Microbiology and Immunology. He is currently PhD Professor of the Department of Biology of the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto - USP, where he coordinates and teaches the discipline of Immunology and Parasitology. Member of the Commission of the Graduate Program in Basic and Applied Immunology of the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto - USP, he has experience in immunology, with emphasis on Immunochemistry, glycobiology and immunotherapy in paracoccidioides brasiliensis infection.
