Professor at the State University of Santa Cruz (UESC), Ilhéus - Bahia. She has experience in basic, technical, technological, higher education and postgraduate education. PhD (2020), master's degree (2015) with a sandwich period at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (Mexico), bachelor's degree (2012) and degree (2011) in Geography from the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), Presidente Prudente campus. She has a Post-doctorate in Geography (2023) from the State University of Southwest Bahia (UESB) and a Specialization in Geography Teaching (2022) from UNESP, Ourinhos campus. She is scientific advisor to Revista Terra Livre and was editor of Geografia em Atos Magazine. She was a substitute teacher in the courses of: Geography at UNESP/FCT (2019), Degree in Rural Education and Pedagogy at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES) (2021-2022), São Mateus campus and at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS), Erechim campus (2023). She worked on developing teaching materials. Winner of the Isabel André Prize for Research in Gender and Geography, from the Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning (IGOT) at the University of Lisbon. Has experience and research interest in the following topics: gender relations, intersectionality, agrarian geography, rural women, farmer associations, social movements, rural settlements, socio-spatial reproduction strategies, solidarity economy, public policies, socio-spatial technologies, qualitative research methodologies and women in geographic thought.
