Undergraduate, Masters and PhD in Chemistry at UNICAMP (1992, 1994 and 1999, respectively). Developed part of the PhD in Delft University of Technology (Netherlands). He also worked at University of Bergen (Norway), Rheinisch-Westfaelische Technische Hochschule (Aachen, Germany) and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium). He is currently Head of the International Affairs Office, Professor and Researcher at Universidade Federal do ABC acting in catalysis, specifically in catalytic metathesis, hydrogenolysis and oxidation of organic compounds using environmentally processes in order to produce raw materials for the petroleum, plastics, fragrances and pharmaceuticals industries. He has experience in chemometrics and in the identification and quantification of organic compounds by GC, GC-MS, HPLC, NMR and IR.
