Jardel Francisco Mazzi Chaves

Graduated in Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry of Ribeirão Preto (FORP) - University of São Paulo (USP). In the basic area, developed researchs in Physiology of Pain and behavior, with emphasis on temporomandibular disorders, receiving financial support from the Foundation for Research Support of the State of São Paulo, FAPESP. He was a intern student at the Center for Specialized Care in Oral Diagnosis (CAEDO), in the Faculty of Dentistry of Ribeirão Preto. He is Masters Degree student in Restorative Dentistry, Endodontics option, in the Faculty of Dentistry of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo (USP). In the clinical area, has great interest in Endodontics, in which wants to specialize and after finished the master, follow the doctorate and post-doctorate, and college professor. He currently has a PhD in Endodontics from the School of Dentistry of Ribeirão Preto - USP, where he works in the following areas and subareas: root canal anatomy, microcomputed tomography (microCT), nanocomputed tomography (nanoCT), cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), physicochemical properties of root canal sealers, bond strength of endodontic materials, biomechanical preparation of root canals, among others. At this moment, he is a Professor of the Restorative Dentistry of the School of Dentistry of Ribeirão Preto - University of São Paulo and a researcher at OMFS Impath Research Group at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium.
