Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (1987), PhD in Science - Experimental Pathophysiology from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (2002) and Post-Doctorate in Molecular Biology (2008-2010) from the Biological Institute of São Paulo and the University of Florida - US (2019). I am a Scientific Researcher at the São Paulo Fisheries Institute and has experience in Aquaculture (emphasis on Ranaculture), Aquatic Ecotoxicology and Aquatic Organism Health, acting on the following subjects: physical and prophylactic management, breeding techniques, hematology, water quality, ecotoxicology, bioinvasion and emerging diseases in Aquatic Organisms. I was coordinator of the Pos-Graduate Program in Aquaculture and Fisheries of the São Paulo Fisheries Institute (2010-2012) and Research Dean from 2010 to 2014. Also, was coordinator of the PIBIC / CNPq Program from 2014 to 2016. Nowadays, holds the positions of Technical Advisory Director of Fisheries Institute and coordinate the Interinstitutional Health Laboratory in Aquaculture of the São Paulo State Secretariat of Agriculture. It is part of the SAA Aquaculture Technical Commission in São Paulo, which issues opinions on this topic in the state and was also a CNPq productivity fellow during 2013 - 2016 e 2017 a 2020.
