Graduated in Nursing at Universidade Estadual de Londrina (1979), Master in Nursing at Escola Paulista de Enfermagem of the Universidade Federal de São Paulo (1994) and PhD in Nursing at Escola de Enfermagem of the Universidade de São Paulo (2000). Currently she is an Associate Professor in the Postgraduate Program in Nursing at the Escola Paulista de Enfermagem of the Universidade Federal de São Paulo. The research are linked to two research lines of the Program: Clinical Care in Nursing and Health and Fundamentals Methods Processes and Technology in Nursing.The focus of research is morbidity and mortality in trauma, severity and indicators in trauma; nursing workload, pressure injuriy risk assessment, enteral nutrition and delirium in intensive care.
