Karinne Reis Deusdará Leal

She is currently a Visiting Professor at UNIFEI, working in the postgraduate program in Management and Regulation of Water Resources - ProfÁgua, teaching disciplines and contributing with research to the Institute of Pure and Applied Sciences - ICPA. She worked at UFC as a Substitute Professor, at the Institute of Marine Science - Labomar, teaching disciplines for the undergraduate course in Environmental Sciences and Oceanography, working in research, supervision and undergraduate thesis comittee. She also worked at the National Center for Monitoring and Alerting of Natural Disasters - CEMADEN, in the #8203;#8203;hydrology departament focused on water scarcity in hydrographic basins and reservoirs / dams for the generation of hydroelectric energy and public supply. She holds a doctorate in Earth System Science from the National Institute for Space Research - INPE (2016), in the research lines of hydrology and biogeochemistry, a master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP (2011) with an emphasis on environmental sanitation.She has experience in environmental sciences, working mainly on the following topics: Study of the components of the hydrological cycle, Water balance, Surface hydrology, Hydrographic basins, Hydrological modeling for the study of the impacts of climate change, Water scarcity, Streamflow elasticity, Nutrient cycling , Nitrogen, Environmental pollution, Chemical composition of rainwater.
