I am a postdoctoral researcher in bioinformatics at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. My work focuses on comparative genomics, computer programming, and phylogenetics. My main interest is to bridge the gap between pure research and applied bioinformatics through scientific collaborations involving different biological models, ranging from frogs to viruses.
