Degree in Biology, Doctor degree in Cell Biology by Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2007). Postdoctoral researcher at Instituto Israelita de Ensino e Pesquisa Albert Einstein / IIEPAE / SBIBAE whit FAPESP fellowship.Researcher at Orthopedic department of Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. Assisted in the preparation and development of basic and clinical studies research of orthopedic diseases such as osteoarthritis and disc degeneration. The main areas of research consists in investigation of functional regulatory mechanisms of cartilage; differentiation of stem cells into cartilage and bone cells; the use of undifferentiated or differentiated cells in cell therapy; the development of functional scaffolds for cartilage regeneration, assessing the functional properties of the biomaterials.
