Since 2021, Marco Roberto Cavallari is a Visiting Professor at the Universidade Federal do ABC (UFABC). He teaches Analog and Digital Electronics, Digital Signal Processing and Power Electronics. His main research topic is the processing and characterization of gas and biosensors from an array of organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs). In 2007, at the end of his graduation studies in Brazil, he obtained a double degree in engineering in Brazil and France for his participation to the T.I.M.E. program (Top Industrial Managers for Europe) in Ecole Centrale de Lille, France, and Department of Electrical Engineering - Electronics Systems (EPUSP, Brazil). In 2010, he finished a 24-month Master of Science in Microelectronics at EPUSP and in Fondazione Bruno Kessler/Università degli Studi di Trento, Italy. In 2014, he presented his PhD thesis in OTFTs as sensors for clinical diagnosis. In 2017, he finished a 24-month post-doctoral research at the Department of Electrical Engineering in Columbia University, New York. In 2019, he finished a 36-month post-doctoral research at EPUSP. In his previous job, he was a Full-Professor at the Energy Engineering Department of the Federal University for Latin-America Integration (UNILA), Brazil. He is experienced in electrical engineering, specially in Microelectronics and Molecular Electronics, acting in the following fields: characterization of electrical charge transport in disordered solids, organic photovoltacs, organic thin-film transistors (OTFT), chemical sensors for gas sensing, X-ray sensors, strain gauges, processing in microelectronics (CMOS) and Micro Electromechanical Systems (MEMS), nanotechnology, piezoelectric materials, conjugated polymers and small organic molecules. Specialties: electronic devices characterization (sensors, diodes, LEDs, solar cells, transistors, circuits), programming (ASP, HTML, Java, Java Server Pages, Javascript, Assembly, C, C++, VHDL, Matlab), modeling (Pspice, Microstation, Catia CAD), languages (English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian) (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
