MSc degree in Genetcs (1984) e PHd in Genetics (1989). Visiting scientist at University of Nebraska Lincoln - USA (1993-1994) and Animal Genetics and Breeding Unit - Austrália (1999 - 2000).She is full professor at UNESP and CNPq researcher level 1A. She works with beef cattle breeding and genetic mainly with parameter estimation, random regression models and selection for sexual precocity. Lately, she has been leading research projects in genomic selection for traits difficult to measure in beef cattle. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
