She holds a degree in Dentistry from the University of Santo Amaro (1984), a master's degree in Dentistry from the University of Taubaté (1996) and a doctorate in Pediatrics and Applied Sciences in Pediatrics from the Federal University of São Paulo (2001). She is currently Professor of the Dentistry Course acting at the Undergraduate, Master and Doctorate of the Santo Amaro University - UNISA.
