Is currently Associate Professor of Philosophy at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Research Fellow at the Center for Logic, Epistemology, and the History of Science (UNICAMP) on a CNPq Senior Post-Doctoral Scholarship (2021-2022), and President of the Brazilian Society for Analytic Philosophy (2021-3). Obtained Agrégation in Philosophy (Université Paris X-Nanterre, 1994), DEA (Université Paris 1-Panthéon Sorbonne, 1997), and Doctoral Degree in Philosophy (Université Paris 1-Panthéon Sorbonne, 2005). Was "Visiting Fellow" at Harvard University (GSAS, 2000-2001) on Fulbright and Arthur Sachs Scholarships, Pensionnaire of the Maison Française d'Oxford (2001-2002) on a Lavoisier Scholarship, Visiting Researcher at the Wittgenstein Archives of the University of Bergen (2002, 2003, 2004) on a ARI Grant from the European Union, and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of São Paulo on a FAPESP Scholarship (2008-2010). His areas of interest include the philosophy of language and mind, philosophy of logic, epistemology and the history of analytic philosophy, with a special emphasis on singular reference, expressive meaning, de re thoughts, cognitive dynamics, intentionality, spatial perception.
