Graduated in Mechanical Engineering / Emphasis in Thermal Engineering from the Catholic University of Petrópolis (1988), Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (1992), PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (1996) and a free degree in Engineering Mechanics in the area of Machine Elements from Paulista State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2005). He is currently Associate Professor at the Paulista State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Faculty of Engineering, Guaratinguetá Campus. Has experience in Mechanical Engineering, focusing on Machine Elements, acting on the following subjects: finite element method, machine design, structural analysis and fatigue failure analysis.
