Birthplace: Brazil

Currently, I am a Ph.D. at the Butantan Institute in the Laboratory of Applied Toxinology (LTA) within the Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Nucleus (NBBC). I completed my Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), where I was a scientific initiation student funded by PIBIC-CNPq, PIBIC FAPEMIG, and PIVIC-UFU in the Laboratory of Animal Biochemistry and Toxins (LaBiTox). During my undergraduation, I participated as a teaching assistant for biochemistry and human anatomy, provided academic-scientific tutoring, joined the Triângulo Mineiro Junior Enterprise (TRIBIOTEC), the Animal Toxins and Their Therapeutic Applications Research Group, the Brazilian Bioinformatics League (LBB), the Bioinformatics and Microbiology League (LABiM), the Scientific Communication Study Group, and the Brazilian Society of Computing (SBC). At the end of my degree, I completed an internship at NBBC in LETA at the Butantan Institute, where I developed computational approaches to evaluate peptide and protein structures, perform proteomic and transcriptomic analyses, gene and protein alignment, data integration through statistical methods, and participated in scientific meetings. I have experience in (i) purification and biochemical characterization of toxins, (ii) cell and parasite culture, (iii) proteomics and transcriptomics, and (iv) bioinformatics and computational biology.
