Currently she is a pos-doctoral fellow at Departamento de Fisiologia e Biofísica in ICB-USP, studying the growth hormone (GH) action in the Central Nervous System. She has done recently post-doc internship at University of Cambridge-UK, studying developmental programming and the effects on the central control of metabolism. Recently, she has revealed with collaborators an unprecedented function of GH in the central control of metabolism, acting in AgRP hypothalamic neurons, leading to a first authorship at the magazine Nature Communications. She is graduated in Fundamental Sciences for Health (2009), Masters degree in Morphofunctional Sciences (2012) and PhD in Sciences - Human Physiology (2016) in the Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas da Universidade de São Paulo. Area of interest: maternal behaviour, central control of metabolism, neuroanatomy, GH, prolactin, hypothalamus, VMH, ARH, superior colicullus (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
