Graduate at School of Agricultural Engineering from University of Campinas (1979), graduate at Mathematics from Sao Paulo University(1974), Master of Science at School of Agricultural Engineering from University of Campinas (1987) and PhD in Wood Science from Lorraine University - Nancy - France (1994). Has experience in Agricultural Engineering, focusing on Engineering of Agricultural Constructions and Materials, acting on the following subjects: bamboo, composites, non conventional materials, wood and wood based materials.
