Everton Castelão Tetila is a postdoctoral fellow at Embrapa Agricultura Digital/FAPESP in the field of Artificial Intelligence. PhD in Local Development from Universidade Católica Dom Bosco (2019), a Master's Degree in Production Engineering from Universidade Paulista (2007) and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul (2004). He has been a faculty member at FACET/UFGD for over a decade, teaching courses in Computer Engineering and Information Systems. He has experience in the area of Computer Science, with an emphasis on Database, Big Data / Business Intelligence and Machine Learning/Computer Vision. Winner of the Mercosur Prize for Science and Technology, 2018 Edition, in the senior researcher category with the work "A deep learning approach for automatic counting of insect pests in soybean". Awarded at the 1st National Education Award - ENAP with the work "Data modeling with data warehouse and OLAP: a case study". Coordinator of the Research Group on Applied Computing Methods and Systems. Reviewer of high impact international journals: Nature - Scientific Data (ISSN 2052-4463), Sensors (ISSN 1424-8220), IEEE-GRSL (ISSN 1545-598X) and Computers and Electronics in Agriculture (ISSN 0168-1699).
