Associate Professor (MS 5) since February 2019. Professor at the University of São Paulo (USP) since 1990; until 2005 at the Faculty of Medicine (FMUSP) and after that, at the Occupational Therapy Course at the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto (FMRP-USP). - Education: Graduated in Occupational Therapy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (1985). Master's degree (1991) and doctorate (1997) from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). She carried out 2 Postdoctoral programs: at the Department of Internal Medicine at the USP School of Medicine (FMUSP, 2005) and at the USP School of Nursing (EEUSP, 2017). She participated in the Introductory and Advanced Course on Palliative Care-promoted by Instituto Pallium Latinoamerica, Argentina (2012-13). - Advisor of the postgraduate program of "Nursing in Public Health" - CAPES grade 7 (master's and doctorate) by the School of Nursing of Ribeirão Preto, USP (EERP-USP). - Coordinator of the Research Group ?Research Laboratory on Human Activity and Palliative Care (LIATH-CP)? since its creation - https://sites.usp.br/liath-rp/ and CNPQ Group Directory. She has supervised several research projects with Scientific Initiation and postgraduate grants (including: Fapesp, CNPq, CAPES, CAPES-Print, and PUB-USP). - Tutor professor and member of the NDAE of the Multiprofessional Residency Program for Cancer Care, Occupational Therapy area, at Hospital das Clínicas da FMRP-USP (since 2018). - Tutor professor at the Academic League of Spirituality in Health and Palliative Care (LESCP). - Author and co-organizer of 5 Occupational Therapy books, several book chapters and articles published in national and international scientific journals. - Founding associate and former president of the "Scientific Association of Occupational Therapy in Hospital Contexts and Palliative Care - ATOHosP" (from 2012 to 2019). Member of the Association of Occupational Therapists of the State of São Paulo (ATOESP), Brazilian Association of Occupational Therapists (ABRATO) and of the World Federation of Occupational Therapy (WFOT - No. 18015). - Member of the Occupational Therapy Task Force (OT Task Force) of the European Association of Palliative Care (EAPC) - She is an associate member of the National Academy of Palliative Care (ANCP) since 2019. She is currently vice-coordinator of the Academic Leagues Committee and is a member of the Board of ANCP-São Paulo - Scientific Committee (2022-2023 management). - Founding associate and current president of the Lotus Institute of Palliative Care of Ribeirão Preto (ILCP-RP), which is a Civil Society Organization (CSO) - 3rd sector (volunteer extension activity).
