Master's student enrolled in the Postgraduate Program in Genetics and Molecular Biology, specializing in Microorganism Genetics, at the Genomics and Bioenergy Laboratory (LGE) of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). The aforementioned research endeavor is financially supported by FAPESP and titled "Mapping and Genetic Engineering of an Industrial Yeast Strain: Toward Enhanced Fermentative Efficiency of Corn Ethanol." Prior to pursuing her Master's degree, she completed her Bachelor's in Biotechnology at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). Throughout her undergraduate tenure, she engaged in three PIBIC-CNPq Scientific Initiations, accruing expertise across various domains including microbiology of soil organisms, enzyme immobilization, and metabolic engineering of yeast. Her undergraduate thesis, developed at the National Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM), focused on microorganism genetics with an emphasis on biopolymer production.
