Eduardo de Rezende Francisco

Ph.D. (2010) and Master (2006) in Business Administration from Fundacao Getulio Vargas - EAESP (Business Administration School) and Bachelor of Computer Science at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Sao Paulo (1999). He is Chief Deparment of Technolgy and Data Science (TDS) since 2022.He was Associate Dean Assistant of Undergraduate Program in Business Administration from 2019 to 2021, responsible for the academic management of double degrees (with Economics and Law) and dual degrees with international partner schools. He is at a full time tenure track position of Assistant Professor (GeoAnalytics and Data Science) of Department of Technology and Data Science (TDS) of FGV EAESP, school where he teaches since 2011. He was a visiting researcher at the Department of Information Science at the University of Otago in New Zealand. He has experience in predictive models for Microcredit, Marketing, Applied Statistics, Geostatistics, and Geo-Demographics in general, with emphasis on data mining, mainly in the following areas: Microcredit, Geomarketing, Business Intelligence, Customer Satisfaction, and Integration of Information Technology. He was a professor of ESPM from 2014 to 2018. He coordinated the MBA in Big Data Applied to Marketing and the short-time course Big Data Analytics in Decision Making of ESPM from September 2016 to December 2018. He was a Professor in the Course of Information Systems (TECH) of ESPM (cordinator of Digital BI trail) from 2014 to 2018, Professor of Executive MBA and Professor of Master Course of Consumer Behavior (MPCC) of ESPM from 2015 to 2018 and Professor of Business Administration of ESPM in 2018. He was the academic coordinator of the International Module Consumer Behavior: Big Data of ESPM, conducted in January 2018 in the countries France, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom. He is a founding partner and responsible for Business Analytics and Spatial Statistics at GisBI, study and fostering group of integration between GIS and Business Intelligence (since 2012).
