Ph.D. candidate in Computer Engineering at the Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering (PPGEE), at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo. Ph.D candidate in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Twente, the Netherlands. He holds a master degree in Knowledge Management and Organization (Information Science) and Bachelor degree in Librarianship from UFMG. Undertook international academic exchange at the Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração do Porto (ISCAP), Portugal (2016-2017). He has extensive experience as a consultant in publishing scientific texts and managing scientific events. He has interest and experience in topics related to linked open data, controlled vocabularies for the semantic web, metadata schemas, and the FAIR principles. At the USP Biodiversity and Computing Research Center (BioComp-USP), he has carried out research in the area of bioinformatics, with an emphasis on pollination. He is currently a doctoral fellow (FAPESP process 21/15125-0) at the Center for Artificial Intelligence (C4AI), a joint initiative of USP, IBM and FAPESP, where he develops research related to the semantic interoperability of agricultural databases.
