Silmara Aparecida Milori Corona completed the Graduation Course at the Araraquara Dental School - UNESP in 1992. She is currently an associate professor 3 and Supervisor of the Human Teeth Biobank. It presents 7 orientations in the postgraduate course in progress, 1 master's and 6 doctorate, in two postgraduate programs. She served as Ombudsman for FORP/USP from 2012 to 2016. She has completed 38 Scientific Initiation orientations. In postgraduate studies, it has 22 completed master's and 15 doctoral supervisions, with 11 of them receiving a FAPESP grant. It presents 1 postdoctoral supervision abroad (BEPE/FAPESP) completed and 1 doctoral supervision abroad (BEPE/FAPESP) in progress. It has 13 completed Research Grants. He has published 122 complete articles in international journals, indexed in pubmed. Acts as a reviewer for the following journals: Brasilian Dental Journal, Lasers in Medical Science, Microscopy Research and Technique, Brazilian Oral Research, Journal of Biomedical Optics, Photomedicine and Laser Surgery, The Scientific World Journal, Acta Odontologica Scandinavica, Photodiagnosis and Photodynamic Therapy, International Journal of Pediatric Dentistry, Journal Oral research and International Journal of Dentistry. It operates mainly in the field of Dentistry, Cariology, Pediatric Dentistry and Laser. The most researched topics are: Er:YAG laser, CO2 laser, photodynamic therapy, dental caries, biofilm and erosion. She is an ad-hoc advisor to FAPESP, CNPq and CAPES.
