FAPESP postdoc in Biophysics at ICTP-SAIFR at UNESP in São Paulo, Brazil. Former postdoc on Active Matter at Universidad de Chile, Santiago. I have a PhD in Physics from the Dept of Maths at King's College London (2019). My main work is on new physical models to understand soft matter systems. I also investigate the effects of friction on the reverse rotation phenomenon of rigid bodies. I was also a temporary professor at the Dept. of Physics at UFPE from 2013 to 2014. I have M.Sc. (2014) and B.Sc. (2011) degrees in Physics, both obtained from UFPE. As an undergraduate student, I studied about coastal trapped waves on the Brazilian coast (propagating along the shoreline) at the Dept. of Oceanography at UFPE. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
