Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto Oceanográfico (IO)  (Institutional affiliation for the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated in Food Engineering in the Campinas State University (UNICAMP, 2003). MSc and PhD in Sciences (both in Chemical Oceanography by the São Paulo State University, USP, in 2007 and 2011, respectively). He has been, among other projects, under a postdoctoral contract by the Fapesp state foundation in the Oceanographic Institute of the University of São Paulo, under the supervision of Professor Rosalinda Carmela Montone with the project "Vegetation and soil as indicators of relevant secondary pollutants sources in Antarctic ecosystems". Acts mainly in three research lines: Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPS), heavy metals/trace elements and stable isotopes as a tool for trophic analyses. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
