Graduated in medicine(MD) at the Faculdade de Ciências Médicas de Santos (FCMS) - Fundação Lusíada (2006); medical residency in Internal Medicine at the Universidade Federal de São Paulo - Escola Paulista de Medicina (Unifesp - EPM 2008) and medical residency in Hematology and Hemotherapy at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (HC-FMUSP 2010). He has subspecialization in cytomorphology and flow cytometry by the Laboratory of Immunopathology of Hospital das Clínicas da FMUSP (2011 and 2012). PhD in Medical Sciences/Hematology from the University of São Paulo (2017). Postdoctoral research in progress at FM-USP. He is currently an assistant physician at the Discipline of Hematology, Hemotherapy Cell Therapy at FMUSP, developing assistance activities at the Instituto do Câncer do Estado de São Paulo - Otávio Frias de Oliveira (ICESP-FMUSP), as well as at the Laboratory of Medical Investigation in Pathogenesis Directed Therapy in Onco-Imuno-Hematology (LIM-31). He also develops activities as principal investigator and sub-investigator of clinical research protocols in chronic lymphoproliferative diseases at HC-FMUSP. Medical researcher, member of the Nucleus for the Study of Chronic Lymphoproliferative Histiocytic Diseases at the Laboratory of Medical Investigation in Pathogenesis and Directed Therapy in Onco-Immuno-Hematology (LIM-31) at FMUSP. His main lines of research involve the study and discovery of new biomarkers that may help in the differential diagnosis and that influence the prognosis of non-Hodgkin's lymphomas of B, T and NK phenotype, study of the pathogenesis and clonogenesis of non-Hodgkin's lymphomas, with focus on understanding the role of non-neoplastic immune microenvironment and participation of oncogenic viruses in the biology of these tumors. He works in the area of Hematology and Hemotherapy, with emphasis on the following topics: chronic lymphoproliferative diseases - non-Hodgkin's lymphomas; cytomorphology; immunophenotyping of hematological malignancies and molecular techniques applied to Hematology and Hematopathology, including cell cultures, in vitro drug testing and micro-array)= analysis, next-generation sequencing (WES and RNA-Seq), and proteomic analysis. He is scientific reviewer of more than 20 national and international medical journals in Hematology, including Cancer Biomarkers, Frontiers in Oncology, Hematological Oncology, Molecular Oncology, OncoTargets and Therapy, among others. Member of the editorial board of Frontiers in Oncology - Oncohematology section. Advisor of the Pos-Graduate Program in Medical Sciences (area of concentration - cell growth, hemodynamic and hemostasis disorders) at FM-USP. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
